I have more than eight years’ experience in diverse areas (in particular, Earth Sciences, Geological Engineering and Geotechnics, Air Conditioning and Humidification, and Linguistics), as well as a multidisciplinary training, with the following official qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in English Studies, Bachelor’s Degree in Geology and Master in Geological Engineering and Geotechnics.
In the technical field, I have held, parallel to translation, different positions in building maintenance and air conditioning companies, which has allowed me to gain first-hand knowledge about the sector, and to master its specific language and terminology.
In the scientific-technical field, my scientific background allows me to deeply understand the documents I work with, which is reflected in accurate texts both in sense and in use of specific terminology. Thanks to this training, over the years, I have had the opportunity to collaborate as a translator and proofreader on scientific articles from different fields that have been published in prestigious international journals.
Similarly, my qualification on Engineering has allowed me to undertake different works in the field of Geological engineering and related areas, such as Civil engineering and Geotechnics, not only in the translation, but also in the elaboration, of technical reports.
